We are glad to inform you that Quality Austria has achieved accreditation for ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management System).
Following, please find a short explanation of the Business Continuity Standard ISO 22301:2012:
BCM = Bussines Continuity Management
BCM = KEEPING the OPERATING CAPABILITY or its RAPID REGAINING
Thanks to the systematic management approach, BCM is to prevent interruption of operations and/or interruption of delivery capability within an organization. If this bad case occurs, after all, BCM is to help to rapidly regain operating/delivery capability “systematically”.
The key piece of the Standard is BIA (Business Impact Analysis):
- Process of analyzing the activities and the impacts that the failure or malfunction can have on these activities. In the largest sense, knowledge of interaction between the processes and the risk-based approach in the context of the organization form the basis of BIA.
The Standard can be combined with the new ISO 9001:2015 / ISO14001:2015 very well because all the Standards are based on the Annex SL.
