Practical Experience made with ISO 9001:2015
Months after ISO 9001:2015 has appeared, things have calmed down again. The number of publications has decreased. Have the hurdles when it comes to successfully changing over to this Standard already been taken? What are the facts and practical experience, in this respect? Quality Austria has made a survey among 200 customers in order to collect the first experiences.

Innovation with Quality - Designing the future by using ISO 9001:2015
Innovation is to help new products to reach the customer and markets as soon as possible: New solutions, which often are radical, should be tried out and directly tested or used by the customer as soon as possible. Quality management, builds upon capable processes, legal certainty and the capability of durably meeting the customers’ requirements.

ISO 45001 will not be published in 2016
The period for submitting statements and voting for the DIS has expired on the 12th of May 2016. There was no sufficient agreement obtained by the national bodies (72% - yes, 75% are necessary); at the same time, more than 3.000 statements were submitted. This result requires the elaboration of a new DIS.

Design of Quality - Eco-Effectiveness versus Eco-Efficiency
Waste is a thing of the past. From now on, there only are nutrients. All products remain in a steady circle. It only is healthy and unrisky materials that are used. What sounds like a version from remote future already is reality on many places. And this concept has a name: Cradle to Cradle.

EU Project
Today we would like to present the following EU-funded project with qualityaustria participation: "GameHub: University-enterprises cooperation in game industry in Ukraine". By building a symbiotic cooperation between universities and the game industry, the GameHub project fosters human investment into the emerging Ukrainian IT Business Sector. The main objective is to ensure employment and self-sustainability.

EOQ Presidential Georges Borel Awarding 2016 in Helsinki
EOQ Georges Borel Award recognizes individuals who have brought an outstanding contribution to the EOQ mission, who is: “Improve European society through the promotion of Quality in its broadest sense”. The European Organization for Quality (EOQ) has celebrated the recipients of the EOQ presidential Georges Borel Awards at the EOQ Presidential Meeting in Helsinki/Finland.

Course: Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager and Laboratory Assessor
The European Organization for Quality (EOQ) training course is designed to teach laboratory personnel and future laboratory assessors how to install, maintain, improve and assess a Laboratory Quality Management System that meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005, ISO 15189:2012 and OECD GLP, and is applicable for the laboratories of any size and any activities related to calibration and testing.
