Invitation to the EFQM Forum 2018 in Vienna
Since 1989, Europe's biggest event on business excellence has been the EFQM Forum. This year it is a great honour for us to host and organize this event in Vienna together with our partner EFQM.

The two-day event is official part of the Austrian EU Council Presidency and should be an unforgettable experience for the 400 expected participants from all over the world. Austria's Federal Minister for Digital & Economic Affairs, Dr. Margarete Schramböck, will also chair the opening of the Forum. To live up to this year's motto "Symphony of Excellence", special and historic locations were selected for the congress and the EFQM Global Excellence Award Celebration Dinner. Always in focus: Vienna as the capital of music.

Take advantage of the unique opportunity to network with personalities from all around the world!
Dear Readers!

We are very pleased to invite you to the EFQM Forum from 18th to 19th October 2018 in Vienna. On day one, exciting contributions by international speakers will take the stage:
  • TOWARDS A HUMANE AGE OF ROBOTS AND ALGORITHMS
  • THE CONDUCTOR'S PERSPECTIVE
  • LEADERSHIP COMPASS
In the evening a gala dinner awaits you, including the presentation of the EFQM Global Excellence Award. The winners of last year's awards – the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, the Glasgow Housing Association and Robert Bosch - Blaichach Plant – will share their expertise and experiences with you during the day one.

The second day offers specialized workshops with leading companies such as the Wiener Konzerthaus, Siemens and Constantia Industries/FunderMax, the winner of this year's Austrian Excellence Award.

I am pleased to welcome you to the EFQM Forum on 18th and 19th October in Vienna!

Towards a humane age of robots and algorithms
How can a cooperation between humans and machines be possible? How to design robots to be agreeable? How can we envision a future that is roboticised yet humane? Dr. Martina Mara tries to find answers and gives insight into psychological implications of intelligent machines.

The conductor's perspective
How can a conductor be effective and how does he contribute to added value? How can he achieve that the musicians are making music together instead of playing their notes only? Dr. Raphael von Hoensbroech, Conductor, Violinist and Manager, introduces us to the world of music. This video gives you first insights.

Leadership compass
The key elements of a sound leadership experience for any type of organisation are: CFO as thinker, COO as warrior, HR as lover & CEO as dreamer with a vision. Nicole Brandes as New Leadership Expert and International Executive Coach reports on the human aspects in the digital transformation age.
